# snapMinutes

The time interval at which a dragged event will snap to the agenda view time grid. Also affects the granularity at which [selections](https://legacy.fullcalendar.io/v1/date-clicking-selecting.md) can be made. Specified in number of minutes.

The default value will be whatever [slotMinutes](https://legacy.fullcalendar.io/v1/slotMinutes.md) is, which defaults to `30` (half an hour).
