# Date & Time Display

Settings that control presence/absence of dates as well as their styling and text. These settings work across a variety of different views.

## Whole-day Settings

- [weekends](https://legacy.fullcalendar.io/v1/weekends.md) - Whether to include Saturday/Sunday columns in any of the calendar views.
- [hiddenDays](https://legacy.fullcalendar.io/v1/hiddenDays.md) - Exclude certain days-of-the-week from being displayed.
- [columnFormat](https://legacy.fullcalendar.io/v1/columnFormat.md) - Determines the text that will be displayed on the calendar’s column headings.

## Time-Axis Settings

- [slotMinutes](https://legacy.fullcalendar.io/v1/slotMinutes.md) - The frequency for displaying time slots, in minutes.
- [axisFormat](https://legacy.fullcalendar.io/v1/axisFormat.md) - Determines the time-text that will be displayed on the vertical axis of the agenda views.
- [minTime](https://legacy.fullcalendar.io/v1/minTime.md) - Determines the first hour/time that will be displayed, even when the scrollbars have been scrolled all the way up.
- [maxTime](https://legacy.fullcalendar.io/v1/maxTime.md) - Determines the last hour/time (exclusively) that will be displayed, even when the scrollbars have been scrolled all the way down.
